"Student With Criminal Deeds"
Fashina Toyin, 24year old student,who purposely want to terminate pregnancy for his girlfriend "Makinde Blessing" appeared at Ikeja Magistrates' court for the criminal act committed.Toyin, who lives in Alagbado, area of Lagos, is facing a charge of attempt to procure abortion.
However,the accused plead not guilty,but the prosecutor insisted that the offence contravened section 145 of criminal law of lagos state,2015 while report says attempt to procure termination of pregrancy carries penalty of seven years.
The accused person has being granted bail at the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand {#150,000}with two sureties.Meanwhile the presiding magistrate judge Mrs.G.O Anifowoshe adjourned the case till october 18,2017.
